In Google Slides and Google Vids you can instantly isolate the subject of an image by using the Remove background feature. To use it, simply select your image and then choose the background removal option. You can also access this tool through the Format menu by navigating to Image and then Remove background.

This tool is a quick way to create professional, layered visuals without needing external editing software.

If you decide to revert to the original photo, be aware that the 'Reset image' command will not restore a removed background. Instead you must use the Undo button or access your Version history to recover the original image.
