Turn an email into a tree.

1ClickImpact adds a card to your Gmail™ compose window. While you write, fund real environmental impact for the person you are writing to: trees planted, ocean plastic removed, carbon captured, coral restored, or a donation to a cause. If you want, the confirmation and the certificate link go straight into your draft.

The add-on is free. Impact is billed through your own 1ClickImpact account, so you pay only for what you fund.


HOW IT WORKS

1. Install the add-on and open Gmail™
2. Open 1ClickImpact in the right side panel. It finds your 1ClickImpact account from your Google address
3. Pick what one click should fund: the impact, the amount, and the line it writes
4. Write an email as usual, then open 1ClickImpact from the icons at the bottom of the compose window
5. Press Add impact. It is funded, credited to your recipient, and the line goes into your draft

PRIVACY: WHAT IT CAN AND CANNOT SEE

The add-on reads the recipient addresses of the draft you have open, and only while you have it open. That is how the impact is credited to the right person.

It never reads your subject lines, message bodies or attachments. It makes no Gmail™ API calls at all.

It also sees your own Google email address. That is how it finds your 1ClickImpact account, and it is the only thing that address is used for. Your add-on settings are stored with that account. Nothing is funded until you press Add impact.

Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
