Integrates well with Google Drive. Even better with an Adobe Acrobat subscription to have the ability to truly edit the files.

It is very useful, however, the new layout is confusing. Overall, it is really helpful.

The new layout messes with the view, when you edit something it shrinks. Having everting on the left is annoying, worked much better on the right. It takes you 3-4 clicks to convert or save/print. There is no save button, and where it saves it is not in the file you are working in but to you main goggle drive page. Which you then have to find the doc and move it to where you need.

The add-on has many features that are behind a paywall and required for basic use. Add the fact that the price is insanely high for all Adobe products; paying for a reader is ridiculous.

A User of Adobe Acrobat: PDF edit, convert, sign tools
November 23, 2023
It is ok to read the document, but it is a mess when my students annotate it. When I have students use the text tool to add an answer, the formatting is all over the place and can not be easily read by me when it is submitted. I also dislike not being part of Google Drive once it is open. I can not change its location; I can't see where it is in my drive. If I want to do any major editing or use the tools, I open it on my desktop. Thankfully, I can open the desktop app with the PDF in it, and it edits the document in Google Drive. So, reading the PDF with the extension is the only thing I find helpful.

I downloaded this because I wanted to merge PDFs. It turned out to be a cheap trick to get me to pay for some subscription. I should have known with Adobe. Definitely NOT recommend.

Surprisingly useful, and it helps that it's exactly the same as the desktop app. Highlighting, annotating, underlining all works great and syncs with Google Drive. My only complaint is how try-hard the sales pitch is to get you to upgrade to paid with a pane of features on the left. Adobe, you can just tuck that away and if we need those features we can sign up for paid when we're ready. Shoving the menu under diners' noses doesn't make anybody hungrier.

The new layout, does not reflect the desktop app. Open PDF print on the go, and status of agreements is good as well. I agree when i want to really edit the document - Example, combine files, add portions of file , Paste into blank page from Word Doc/google doc.. or Images . Best to do in the Desktop app, that is a PAID subscription. Save button- allow drive folder selection, local or google drive folders.

It is quick and convenient to view pdfs in the browser with this extension. I like the button that lets you launch the pdf you are viewing in the desktop app because sometimes you want the full features of Adobe Acrobat. It means you aren't forced to choose whether to use the browser extension or the desktop app because you can easily switch out of the browser view.
