This extension appears to be great on first review. It's very impressive and there is a lengthy tutorial on Andrey's YouTube channel about it. But I gave it a non-committal review because I could not thoroughly evaluate it. However, I would be delighted to submit another review as soon as I can evaluate it it in detail.
I tried to follow Andrey's YouTube tutorial, creating new inspection sheets with new target websites to emulate what he describes, a multinational retailer with several localized websites, and quickly ran into the free version limitation. Because each inspection with the free license requires 30 tokens, the tokens are exhausted after just three or four inspections. At this point you will get an error message that says:
"Not enough tokens - You have run out of tokens, [x] more are required to continue. Consider upgrading the license or wait unless [sic, s.b. "until"?] the tokens are added (that happens nightly)."
Apparently [x] is 30 minus your remaining tokens. Judging from how the [x] changes night-to-night, 5 tokens are added each night, so it appears the free version allows you to inspect one new website every six days.
Next you might next consider upgrading the license but there is no apparent way to do this. The add-on provides a help section that includes "Learn More", "Report an Issue" or "View In Store". Both of the first two options send you to Andrey's one-page training site where he is selling training courses and promoting his videos. Although the page has a detailed description of the inspector and its functions, including a comparison of the licenses, and has a "Get In Touch" contact form at the bottom, it says nothing about how to upgrade.
Following the third option, "View in Store", allows you to uninstall the extension and includes a detailed description as well as an opportunity to Rate and Review the extension (which I am doing now), a history of reviews and additional contact info for Andrey. Again, no mention of how to upgrade the license.
Finally, Andrey's page makes this offer: "A 7-day trial license (with unlimited tokens) is given for a post about AEP Launch Inspector on LinkedIn, Twitter or Facebook. Send a request using the [Get In Touch] form below." I tried this yesterday but have received no reply yet.
In summary, this extension has enormous potential. I am hoping to be able to review it in more detail soon, rate it again and give it the 5 stars it (probably) deserves.
