Many Google Workspace™ products—such as Google Docs™ and Google Sheets™—automatically maintain version history as you work. Google Apps Script™ projects, however, do not include a simple, one-click method for saving named versions during development.

App Script Saver™ addresses this limitation by allowing you to create a list in the app of Apps Script project IDs that are under active development and save labeled snapshots of their code with just a few clicks. The app also allows one to export and download all project files—including .gs, .html, and .json—for sharing, backup, or offline archiving.
