Ataski FP&A builds your financial model in the spreadsheet — not a picture of
one, the model itself.

Press "Build the book" and the add-on writes twenty sheets, in reading order,
in the spreadsheet you opened it in. Model is the plan itself: one row per line
of your P&L, the calculation method as a word you pick from a list, the blue
input cells you own — a price, a quantity, a rate, a growth, a share of another
line — and then the months, as real spreadsheet formulas over those blue cells,
with the statement rows totalled from the months. Dashboard is the answer: the
closed month against the month before, against last year and against plan, the
period totals, the checks and the unit metrics. Cash is one monthly cash
statement, closed months and forecast months in a single row set, with the 13
weeks and the payment calendar. Scenarios holds every number a scenario moves,
in three columns, and the switch on Dashboard moves the model to another
scenario inside the file, with no round trip. How to use this, Balance sheet,
Actuals, Metrics, four Breakdowns (lines, segments, accounts, counterparties),
Month close, Group, Checks, Changes, Log, Reference and Seasonality complete
the book; one hidden sheet records which cell carries which value.

Change a price and the whole year moves in the sheet, before anything is sent
anywhere. Every number explains itself: hover a cell and the note says where it
came from — an actual from your books, an input you set, or a month calculated
by a method named in words beside the line.

Press "Sync now" and Ataski takes the cells you changed and hands back the
recomputed book, with its own verdict on every edit. Three rules hold in both
directions. Closed months are grey, carry no edit key and are never sent — they
are your books, not a forecast. A cell holding a formula is left alone: a
formula means "keep calculating", so the sync neither overwrites it nor sends
its result as if somebody had typed it. And when the same month moved in the
sheet AND in Ataski, the cell says so — "118 here / 112 in Ataski" — the sheet
keeps your number and a person chooses in Ataski. There is no last-writer-wins
and no silent overwrite.

Turn on "keep in sync automatically" and the add-on installs two of its own
triggers in that document: one fires on your edit, and one runs every hour to
bring back what changed in Ataski — press "Sync now" if you do not want to wait
for the hour. Turn it off and both are deleted.

Connecting takes one approval and no credential. Press "Sign in to Ataski": the
sidebar shows a six-digit code and opens the approval page. You approve that
code in Ataski, in the browser where you are already signed in, and the key
arrives on its own. The code lives 10 minutes and is used once, and nothing is
pasted into the spreadsheet.

The add-on reads and writes only the spreadsheet it is open in, and only the
sheets it maintains there. It has no Drive access, it cannot see any other
file, and it calls no server other than Ataski. It never writes to your
accounting system: the closed months arrive read-only, and a forecast is
approved by a person in Ataski, never by a spreadsheet.

The book is written in the language of your Ataski workspace, in six languages,
so the tab names above are the English ones.

The add-on is free to install. An Ataski subscription is required for the
service it connects to.
