No record of who changed what in your shared Google Sheet™? AuditMySheet quietly records every human edit in your file — who changed what, when, and where — with old and new values, action type, and change size. Logs and recovery data stay inside your spreadsheet in Google Drive™; we do not send cell content to external servers.

What it does
Logs edits — timestamp, user email, sheet name, cell address, old value, new value, action type, and how many cells were involved
Tracks structure — row and column insert/delete, sheet renames, and sheet deletions
Mass edits — a single edit touching over 500 cells is logged as one mass-change event
Owner Control Panel — only the spreadsheet owner opens the sidebar; editors and viewers keep working normally and their edits are still logged
Rolling log — last 5,000 entries, auto-managed in a hidden tab

Critical Sheet mirror — continuously mirror one sheet you choose for recovery
Recovery tabs — dated snapshots when mass edits (over 500 cells), row or column removal on the Critical Sheet, or deletion of the Critical Sheet occur; you can copy values back manually
Full log tools — search, date filter, and export within the rolling log window

Getting started
Open your spreadsheet as the owner
Extensions → AuditMySheet → Open Control Panel
Tracking starts automatically; choose a Critical Sheet on Pro when you are ready

Limitations
Does not capture edits from scripts, Zapier, or API connections — human edits through the Sheets UI only
Previous cell value is shown where available; may display "—" for first-time or trimmed entries
Recovery is manual — review and copy from recovery tabs; not a one-click restore
Recovery may be unavailable for about 10 seconds while the mirror rebuilds after a mass edit
Sheet tab deletion may take 1–2 minutes to appear in the change log
If the mirror is not ready at the moment of a destructive change, a recovery tab may not be created
On consumer Gmail accounts, the log may show the owner's email instead of an editor's email (Google platform limitation)
Not suitable for regulatory compliance — operational change tracking only
