Automate the creation and sharing of personalized documents with autoCrat.
Autocrat is a multi-purpose document merge tool that allows you to take data from a spreadsheet and merge it into a document via a template.  Tell Autocrat which fields to merge via <<merge tags>> and then let Autocrat mass-generate personalized documents.  Optionally send the documents as email attachments.  Optionally tell Autocrat to run when new forms are submitted to create truly automated processes.

I have used this app for the last 3 years and had no issues until the end of the school year, 2026. I keep getting an HTTP Error message when I "run a job." I had our IT specialist come and check everything out, including any updates or spreadsheet issues. I am still unsure what is causing the problem. It will run the job, but sometimes it takes more than one click to run the job in order for my spreadsheet document to update on a google docs template. I don't know what happened towards the end of the school year in 2026, but it has made it hard to use. Please fix this bug.

This tool is fantastic – I truly enjoy using it and rely on it regularly. The only minor concern I have is that it has stopped working on a few occasions. I hope the team can look into the uptime, as everything else about it is top-notch. Keep up the great work!

I have used this tool for several years and have always been impressed. However, this summer when there were required permissions changes, it has stopped working altogether. I now have to go into each spreadsheet and manually run each merge! In the process of looking for a new extension. I have given the permissions that are available, but still receiving daily emails - super frustrating!!!

I've been using Autocrat since 2021 to create, email, and save individual academic documents (graded rubrics) to appx 150 students each semester. This one tool has saved me hours/days of time and prevented tons of inevitable human error. I love it!!

hey there, I want Autocrat Script ID, will you help me. I want to add it to the appscript library in order to keep my job working. the main problem is the ID of each job which is not shown! and I'm about to set a particular automation with google sheet and I need the Job IDs. plus the Autocrat have some minor problems: - it can not run a specific job filtered by the value of cells in google sheet. - time trigger is limited to at least an hour! I hoped it could be around 5 minutes. - and etc if you want to know ...

Worked one month and then riddled with permissions access problems the next month even though I did not change anything. Ended up using Claude to make a python script to do the job for me.

Hi, following the recent update, I noticed an error in the single output mode. Previously, it was working perfectly without any issues. However, the error started appearing after the update. Please rectify this as soon as possible. Thanks in advance.
