Exclusively links to Jehovah's Witness website. While the description doesn't say anything untrue, it's generally taken for granted that an app like this would be non-sectarian. Since the app appears to only link to JW-approved translations on the Jehovah's Witness website, this seems a bit misleading. For Non-Jehovah's Witnesses who are content with linking to the King James Version **on the JW website**, this might be OK, but that's probably a very small number. Why not just be upfront about it? On a technical side: It functions *OK*. It's a touch slow, but doesn't take much effort. However, in a document I am using with en-dashes between veres like "John 1:1–18" ("In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God...."), it doesn't pick up the en-dash as a legitimate character and just links to John 1:1. Later in my document, it doesn't recognize "1 Samuel 1" or "1 Samuel 17" at all, which is really strange. For the first reasons, I'm not going to be experimenting to see how pervasive this error might be or what other formats it accepts/doesn't accept. But these seem like technical limitations that might make it unusable for any formal work. 2 stars, though, because I do like the U/I (in as much as you can have a U/I in Google Docs) and is a slick idea. It just needs improvements and transparency about its affiliations (whether formal or informal) with the Jehovah's Witnesses organization.
