"Students are getting more tech savvy with computers. BMEE allows us to spend more time teaching and less time dealing with students that are misusing technology. "We have had great success in our 1:1 program with BMEE. We have been able to reach out to families when a child was endangered, and our staff is feeling very comfortable using devices in the classroom. It provides many different features that make implementing a 1:1 Chromebook program fairly easy." "This software is a game-changer. In today's digital age and with how easy it is to find and do anything on the internet, BMEE is the silent sentinel who keeps watch over what the students click. Every day my students use the Chromebooks for all sorts of reasons: research, typing a response for an assigned reading, taking AR quizzes, taking online tests, and more. Not to mention all the Youtube, Twitch and gaming sites they visit every day. BMEE helps keep the students safe and accountable for their assignments. These are all by anonymous users, and they are most likely to be bots. DO i need to say more??? It blocks all my websites, educational or not.Its horrible. My family wasted their HARD EARNED money on this

Blocksi is a content filtering and monitoring software commonly used in educational environments to restrict access to certain websites and monitor student activity. While the intentions behind using such software are often rooted in ensuring that students remain focused and safe online, there are several reasons why Blocksi has garnered criticism. Below are 15 reasons why some consider Blocksi to be problematic: 1. Over-Blocking and Inconsistent Filtering One of the most significant issues with Blocksi is its over-blocking nature. It often blocks legitimate websites that may not be harmful or distracting in a learning environment. This can prevent students from accessing valuable educational resources, online tools, and even websites that are necessary for certain school projects. The overly strict filtering can be frustrating for both students and educators, as it hampers access to useful information. 2. Inadequate Customization for Different Needs While Blocksi does offer some customization options, it is often insufficient to meet the varying needs of individual schools or classrooms. Some educators might want to allow access to certain websites for specific lessons, but Blocksi’s rigid filtering does not always accommodate nuanced requirements. As a result, educators may find themselves frustrated with the lack of flexibility in customizing the software to fit their teaching style or curriculum. 3. False Positives and Inefficiency Another common issue with Blocksi is its tendency to flag harmless content as inappropriate. Websites that might contain educational material or even general interest content can be mistakenly categorized as harmful or distracting. These false positives can waste valuable time for teachers and IT administrators who have to investigate and rectify these mistakes, often with no clear solution. 4. Impact on Student Learning In some cases, Blocksi’s strict filtering can have an adverse effect on student learning. It can block access to educational videos, research databases, or even student discussion forums that would benefit from unrestricted access. When students are blocked from engaging with resources that might help them understand course material more deeply, their educational experience is hindered, not enhanced. 5. Privacy Concerns Blocksi also monitors online activity, which can raise privacy concerns. While its intent is to keep students safe and ensure compliance with school rules, some critics argue that contin

Having used previously GoGuardian, this application is NOT user-friendly for teachers. It's extremely slow to load, and it makes something easy (watching students take online assessments) into a painstaking and difficult process. I would never recommend this application in a school setting.

I must express my genuine disappointment regarding the excessively restrictive measures implemented by this extension. As an educator at Haines City Institute, I am deeply concerned to discover that these restrictions have adversely affected my students' learning by inaccurately categorizing certain websites as 'unsuitable'. Historically, limitations have seldom proven to be optimal solutions to challenges, and in this instance, the restrictions have far exceeded acceptable boundaries. I strongly caution against the adoption of this extension by any educational institution, as it may significantly impede students' learning progress. Good day.

Hello, I am politely asking you to delete this off the internet. Many students dislike this and I understand, it is not the best thing humans have invented. I, in fact, agree with every one-star review here, it is a piece of spyware. I remember my teacher used it in front of us, it invaded our privacy, which is illegal. It makes us, students, feel uncomfortable and unsafe, hence, the one star reviews here. My personal experience with it was terrible. You are limited to a select few videos, which makes it harder to be entertained. And the insane restrictions make it even more stressful when you have to do something on a website that has been blocked. So, with respect to my first sentence, please delete this off the internet. Thank you.
