Great app. I didn't realize how long I'd be working myself without a break. My only complaint is that it doesn't identify when a calendar event is a lunch break, so it will think it's a meeting and book a break before/after it. Edit: Another issue I'm finding is that it will sometimes place breaks in places that don't work for me so if I try to move the calendar break hold, it does that but then creates a new break event in the original time that doesn't work for me.

It works really well apart from one thing: it adds breaks with a randomly picked label from my setup, and not as a default event. That means all my insights get messed up, e.g. break is created with label "team meetings" which is not only messes up my overview but give me the wrong insights later on if I look at how many hours I spent in team meetings.

Whenever I change other events or modify the length of the break events, it does not remove/modify existing break events - it creates new ones...

This is a game-changer. Too often, I found my calendar stacking up with back-to-back calls. This little tool has absolutely improved my day-to-day productivity and happiness during work. I get the breaks I need to refresh, reset, and stretch, and I don't have to think about carving out that time because BreakBot does it for me. 100% recommend this tool!

I love BreakBot! ☕️ It is so necessary for our mental health and productivity to take a step back to recharge once or twice during the day. It's easy to get wrapped up in daily activities, and it's great to have a reminder to step away from my computer and get a glass of water, grab a little snack, or step outside for some fresh air! I also love how it schedules my breaks right in my calendar like a little meeting with me- no more getting all booked up for the day with no leftover room for breaktime. This app is genius👍

Let's face it - we've all had those days where our calendars get booked all day without time to take a break, eat lunch, refill our water bottle or go to the bathroom. BreakBot solves this problem by adding breaks so "I didn't have time for lunch" never becomes a problem again :)

I can't even count the number of times I've had to say "sorry, just give me 2 minutes" at the start of a meeting, because I had been going for hours upon hours in back-to-backs and just needed to step away to pee! Or get a drink of water. Or a snack. Seriously, my calendar was getting out of control. BreakBot is such a savior. I no longer get booked for more than 3 hours straight without a 15-minute break. And not having to think about scheduling one, but a break just getting added for me, it's magic. And so needed.

This has been such a lifesaver for me. I wasn't great about adding in breaks to my schedule. And I would end the day having got out of my chair only a few times. This definitely allows me to be more intentional about my work-life balance!

This plug-in really has really helped me to take a step back from the computer when I need it to catch my breath. Lots of meetings happening one after another these days, and it's SO easy to forget to pause and let yourself have a coffee break or step outside for a minute. 100% recommend!

Without this add-on I'd probably have to use the bathroom at my desk. This simple little hack helps me remember to stand up, reset my mind, grab a coffee, and do anything else I need to after hours of back-to-back meetings. 🙏
