BuildTuber turns a finished narration script into the assets a faceless YouTube video is assembled from: an image prompt for every scene, the generated frame for each one, the voiceover, per-line timestamps, and a render plan. A companion Colab notebook cuts the frames to those timings and renders a 1920x1080 MP4 back to your Google Drive™.

It starts where your writing ends. You paste narration into the sheet, one scene per row, and the add-on handles the production stages that follow.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Open a Google Sheets™ spreadsheet and choose Extensions > BuildTuber > Run Setup (create sheets).
2. Open Extensions > BuildTuber > Open Sidebar and paste your Gemini™, ElevenLabs and Runware API keys into the CONFIG sheet.
3. Upload three reference images: one of your character, plus two frames containing that character. Click Build Style Profile once to read them into a reusable style.
4. Add a video title in the sidebar, paste your narration into the STORYBOARD sheet one scene per row, and click Generate Video Assets.
5. Gemini™ writes an image prompt per scene, Runware generates the frames, ElevenLabs narrates the script and returns the timing of every line, and the add-on writes a render plan to your Google Drive™.
6. Copy the Render ID from the sidebar into the BuildTuber_Render.ipynb Colab notebook and run it to produce the finished MP4.

Long videos are processed across several passes, and each stage keeps its own checkpoint. Re-running a video resumes from where it stopped rather than starting over, so a scene that already has a prompt or a finished frame is not generated, or paid for, a second time.

YOUR FIRST FIVE VIDEOS ARE FREE

No licence key is needed to run the add-on end to end on your first five videos. The sidebar shows how many remain. The count is by video, not by day, and follow-up work on a video you already started does not spend another slot.

After that, a one-time purchase removes the cap. There is no monthly subscription and no credit system.

YOU BRING YOUR OWN API KEYS

Generation is billed to you directly by each provider at its own published rates. BuildTuber adds no markup, sells no credits, and never sees or handles your provider spend. The MODELS sheet carries an editable per-model cost field so the sheet can show you what a run costs before you start it, and an Optimal mode that picks a model per scene.

Your API keys are stored in your own copy of the sheet and are sent only to the provider each one belongs to.

WHAT YOU NEED

- A finished script, pasted one scene per row.
- Three API keys: Gemini™, ElevenLabs and Runware. Gemini™ needs billing enabled on the Google Cloud™ project behind the key.
- Three reference images: one character, plus two frames containing that character.
- A chapter number per scene, which is where the video fades to black.

WHAT IT DOES NOT DO

- It does not write your script. You write the narration and paste it in.
- It does not make thumbnails.
- It does not include API credit with any of the three providers.
- It does not choose your topic, your angle or your hook. Those stay yours.

DATA

The add-on runs entirely inside your own account. It reads and writes the spreadsheet you install it into, and creates and reads only the files it makes in your Google Drive™. Scene text and reference images are sent to the AI providers whose keys you supplied, and nowhere else.
