Every "can you handle this?" email is a task wearing an email costume. Cards turns it into a real one:
open the email in Gmail™, press one button, and it is a card on the Trello™ board of your choice — the
title from the subject, a short excerpt in the description, and a link that brings you back to the
email when you work the card.

WHERE TO FIND IT AFTER INSTALLING
Cards opens in the SIDE PANEL on the right of the message you have open, not in the Extensions
menu. Look for its icon in the narrow strip down the right edge; if that strip is hidden, click
the small arrow at the bottom-right corner to show it.

FREE, AND STAYING FREE

• One click from the open email to a card. The title is pre-filled from the subject and stays editable.
• The card description carries a short excerpt of the email and a link back to it in Gmail™.
• Pick any open board and any list on your Trello™ account. Cards remembers your last choice and
  preselects it next time.
• Connect once, in under a minute: Trello™ shows you a token on trello.com and you paste it into the
  panel. Your password never touches the add-on, and you can disconnect from the panel at any time.

Creating cards is the whole job, and it is free permanently. We will not move it behind payment.

PRO — $29 per year, or $69 once

• Due dates straight from the panel, so the card is scheduled before you close the email.
• Labels applied at creation.
• One licence per add-on. The key you buy here unlocks Pro in Cards, on up to three Google
  accounts. A team licence covers every add-on we publish, for a whole organisation.

THREE NARROW PERMISSIONS, AND NOTHING LEAVES YOUR ACCOUNTS

Cards asks for exactly three permissions, and the consent screen shows them in plain words: read the
email you have open while the panel is open, run as a Gmail™ add-on, and connect to an external
service. That external service is api.trello.com and nothing else — the add-on's manifest whitelists
only that host.

Nothing from your file is ever sent anywhere: there is no database and no analytics. Without a licence key the add-on makes no network request at all; with a Pro licence it asks our licence server once a day whether that key is still active, sending only the key and a random identifier for the installation. The email is read inside
Google Apps Script™, the card goes straight to your own Trello™ account with your own token, and
nothing about you or your email is sent anywhere else. The Pro licence key is verified inside your
own Google account by checking its signature — no licence server.

HOW TO USE IT

1. Install, then open any email in Gmail™.
2. Open Cards from the side panel and connect your Trello™ account (one minute, once).
3. Reopen the email: the card form is pre-filled. Pick a board and a list.
4. Press Create card. The confirmation links straight to the new card.
