Cell Editor replaces the cramped Google Sheets formula bar with a real editor β in a sidebar or a resizable window, whichever suits. FORMULAS Long formulas break across numbered lines with colored syntax, and every reference gets its own color, so a range repeated three times is obvious at a glance. Open a bracket and the function's signature appears with the current argument highlighted. Press Ctrl+Space to browse 516 functions across 16 categories. Nine checks catch mistakes before they reach the sheet: seven block the save β unclosed quotes and brackets, wrong argument counts, unexpected characters β and two warn about unknown function names and nesting gone too deep. Select a range with the mouse and the reference lands in the formula. TEXT Bold, italic, underline, strikethrough, color, font sizes, bulleted and numbered lists, several different hyperlinks inside one cell, and an emoji picker with search. EASIER ON THE EYES The A- and A+ buttons enlarge the text inside the editor without changing the size of the characters stored in the cell. For anyone with low vision, and for anyone who spends hours inside long formulas, this is the difference between squinting at one cramped line and simply reading. ALSO 25 interface languages, chosen from your spreadsheet's locale. Separators follow that same setting. A counter appears as you near the 50,000 character limit. Free. Works only with the spreadsheet you have open, and has no permission to send anything anywhere.
