⚡ Limits that hold in a rush
Every submission claims its spots in a single all-or-nothing step. Two people pressing submit at the same instant cannot both take the last seat: the second is told the choice is full. A cap can never be exceeded, however many people arrive at once.

📉 Spots left, live
Each capped choice shows how many places remain, for example "3 left" or "Full". The count updates on every open page as other people submit, with no refresh, and stands out when only a few spots are left. The moment a choice fills, it closes for everyone at the same time.

🔗 One live link to share
Your form is published at a link you can copy, open or hand out as a QR code. You keep building and editing in Google Forms™ exactly as before; open the sidebar or press Sync and your questions and choices are copied across.

🎫 Slot booking, class registration and limited seats
Workshop seats, appointment slots, class registration, session capacity, shift rotas, equipment and stock. Anything where the last place matters and everyone arrives at the same hour. No double booking, because the seat count is checked at the moment of submission rather than afterwards.

🔢 Total response limit
Cap the whole form as well as the individual choices. Once the total is reached the live form stops accepting entries and says so.

♻️ Reset for a new intake
Set every choice back to zero so a form that filled up last term can be reused this one. Your limits are kept exactly as they are, and deleting the collected responses is a separate, off-by-default tick.

📄 Multi-page forms, sections and routing
Sections become pages, "go to section based on answer" routing on choices is respected, and a straight-through form shows respondents how far along they are.

📊 Responses and export
View and export everything collected on the live form as CSV, from your dashboard. Your responses stay available permanently, including after a plan ends.

🔒 Your original form, handled for you
Answers sent through the original Google Forms™ link are not capped, so the add-on offers once to close the original and point everyone at the live link. You can decline, and pausing the add-on reopens a form we closed.

⚙️ Nothing new to learn
Set the caps in the Google Forms™ sidebar you already use. One number per choice, blank for unlimited.

WHEN YOU DO NOT NEED THIS
Most forms do not. If a spot being taken twice on a quiet day is an inconvenience rather than a problem, our Choice Eliminator add-on caps choices on the Google Form itself, respondents stay on the link they know, and nothing about your form moves. Choice Eliminator Live is for the case that one cannot solve: many people submitting in the same few seconds for the same scarce places.

GOOD TO KNOW
- Respondents answer at the live link, not the Google Forms™ link.
- The questions, choices and limits of the hosted copy are stored on Skyfield's servers so the live link can enforce them. What is stored, and for how long, is set out in the privacy policy.
- Running two form-closing add-ons on the same form is not supported. If Form Limiter or Form Scheduler already opens or closes this form, leave the original open.
