Overview
Fast Data Science has developed a Google Sheets™ add-on (plugin) which finds clinical trials data. The plugin uses the clinicaltrials.gov API.

The user will provide a number of NCT IDs in column A (or whichever one they choose) in the Google Sheet™, and the tool will look up those NCT IDs and retrieve information on those trials and populate that information into columns.

To use the add-on, simply select the range of cells that contain the text you want to search, and then click on the add-on icon in the toolbar. The add-on will then scan the selected cells and put the trial info that it finds in the next columns.

If you have 100 NCT IDs, you can retrieve at the click of a button, the protocol URL, trial name and acryonym, organisation, status, results dates, summary, conditions, interventions, outcome measures, sponsors, eligibility criteria, phase, enrollment count, design, locations.

This plugin is not endorsed by the National Library of Medicine or NIH.
