It’s very easy to use this workspace solution. If you’re the organization’s administrator, choose the Admin Install option. Otherwise, choose the Individual Install option. Both deployments allow you to hunt for identical files inside the folders in your cloud storage. Once the application is installed give it the permission to securely scan for repeated files. Keep in mind the CDF service uses official APIs to process data and it doesn’t store your data on its servers. The app keeps you in charge of the ‘control room’ by not taking any action without your consent. After a scan is completed, you will be shown the preview of cloned-files, which you can select and delete based on the provided selection methods. 

The CDF also helps you remove visually similar duplicate photos from the Google Drive™.  The similarity scan marks those photos as duplicates which are somewhat or strikingly similar. This way you can clear Google drive™ storage easily.

*** What are the features of Cloud Duplicate Finder for Google Workspace™? 

A user can scan all types of files in a generic scan and select custom file types in a custom scan. The custom scanner will only find the same files of a specific type such as the Documents, Archives, Music, Videos, and Images. 

The scan results show the file name, file size, date-created, file path, and the file preview. The user can select the newest or oldest file in a group and then choose to either permanently delete or move the duplicates to a folder.
