With some more work, this could turn Google Docs into a viable code editor, great for collaborating. But right now, its a bit too slow and it can't format multiple pages at once (making the option Ctrl+A, Format unviable).

Best solution for formatting code blocks that I've found. Simple to use and works almost seamlessly.

doesn't preserve indentation and when using the pageless view for docs (which makes editing/viewing internal docs that will never be printed out much nicer), it looks horrible.

The permissions this addon ask for are incredibly terrifying seeing that sharing confidential information in such Docs would breach many a workplace NDA for example. Otherwise.... Functionally its perfect!

Doesn't preserve indentation, which is essential. This alone renders this otherwise nice add-on useless.

Would have loved to have used this but because it puts the code into a table I can't paste it into the program I'm using at the other end. Would be great if that was a setting I could turn off.

Does what it says on the tin. Works for C, C++, C#, Python, Java, etc. etc. etc. The only thing it's missing is Assembly. Somehow the "auto" setting sets up assembly (mostly) correctly, but I can't find an "asm" or "masm" setting.

Not what I expected. This extension formats a selection of text so that it looks like code. It doesn't create a real code block that you can type like code and edit (like Markdown codeblock, etc.). As I edit, my code gets auto-corrected and tab key will jump out of the codeblock. I don't think it's any better than writing a code in an IDE and then copying/pasting it (with formatting preserved).
