Áttekintés
CodeKiwi is a Google Slides™ add-on for computer science teachers and coding educators. It turns any Google Slides™ presentation you already have into a live, interactive coding session for your students in minutes.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Install CodeKiwi from the Google Workspace Marketplace™.
2. Open your lesson in Google Slides™, then go to Extensions → CodeKiwi → Open CodeKiwi Add-On to launch the sidebar.
3. Mark any slide as a coding question with one click, and optionally set an expected output so runs are graded automatically. Click Start Lesson to get a 6-digit join code.
4. Students join at codekiwi.app with the code. No accounts or software installs required on their end.
5. Students see your current slide on the left and write and run Python, JavaScript, or Java on the right, in real time.
6. Turn on Live Demo to code beside your slide while every student's editor mirrors you in real time, then toggle it off so they try it themselves.
7. You watch every student's live status and score from the teacher dashboard, get flagged when someone raises a hand, and drive the Google Slides™ deck for the whole class.
8. After class, review a saved gradebook for the session: per-question results, each student's code, and a CSV export.

KEY FEATURES

• Launch a live lesson right from the Google Slides™ sidebar
• Mark any slide as a coding question with one click; the marker is stored in the slide's speaker notes, so it stays with the deck even without the add-on
• Live Demo: live-code beside your slide and every student's editor + terminal mirror you in real time, read-only, then hand it back so they try it themselves
• Auto-grade coding questions: set an expected output and students see "Correct" or "Not quite" the instant they run
• Students join instantly at codekiwi.app with a 6-digit code. No student accounts or installs
• Real-time teacher dashboard with a live status for every student (coding, done, needs help) plus a running score
• Students can raise a hand when they're stuck, flagging their card so you can help right away
• Inspect an individual student's submission during the session
• Review a saved gradebook after class: per-question pass rates, each student's code, and CSV export
• Slides stay in sync: advance the deck and every student's view follows
• Python, JavaScript, and Java support, with more languages planned

PERMISSIONS

CodeKiwi requests only what it needs to run a live lesson inside Google Slides™:

• See, edit, create, and delete your Google Slides™ presentations (Google Slides™ API) — CodeKiwi reads the content of the presentation you open it in to build the live lesson, and writes a small "coding question" marker into a slide's speaker notes when you mark it. It does not create or delete presentations on its own.
• Display and run content in sidebars inside Google applications — shows the CodeKiwi panel in Google Slides™ where you mark slides and start a lesson.
• Connect to an external service — sends the lesson session to the CodeKiwi backend and runs student-submitted code, returning the output to the classroom.
• See your primary Google Account email address — identifies you as the teacher so each session is tied to your account and saved to your teaching history.

CodeKiwi does not request access to Google Drive™, Gmail™, or any files other than the Google Slides™ presentation you open it in.
