The CodeREADr Connector add-on is designed to automate the transfer of data between Google Sheets™ and the CodeREADr barcode scanning app to facilitate mobile data collection and validation.

You will need a CodeREADr account to use the add-on. It can be a free account for testing (limited to 50 scans) or a paid account starting at $14.99/month with the ability to downgrade as needed (no commitments). 

What does the connector add-on do?

1. It automates the formatting and uploading of data from a sheet to a CodeREADr database in the cloud. That data is used to check the validity of the scanned value and present the attributes of that value to the CodeREADr mobile app user.   

2. It automates the downloading of scan records to a sheet. The scan records are created with a scanning device (smartphone, tablet, mobile computer, etc.) running the CodeREADr mobile app.

3. It enables you to create simple workflows (aka “Services”) for recording scans and validating scans against a database. 

4. Creates a single, master sheet with a Scans tab and optional Database tab.
