CoinTable is a Google Sheets™ add-on that returns crypto prices and market data through formulas. Type =CT_PRICE("BTC") in a cell to get the Bitcoin price, or use any of 10,000+ cryptocurrencies, including Ethereum, Solana and smaller altcoins. The free plan needs no signup, and there is no API key to set up.

🚀 How to get crypto prices in Google Sheets
1. Install CoinTable.
2. Type =CT_PRICE("ETH") in any cell for the Ethereum price in US dollars.
3. Put tickers in column A and fill =CT_PRICE(A2) down the column.
If a cell shows "Open Extensions > CoinTable > Activate", run that menu item once for the spreadsheet.

Add a currency as the second argument, as in =CT_PRICE("BTC", "EUR"). USD is the default, and 50+ currencies work, including EUR, GBP and JPY.
Supported coins include Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, XRP, BNB, Cardano, Dogecoin, Litecoin and stablecoins such as USDT and USDC.

💼 Portfolio trackers, watchlists and dashboards
For a portfolio tracker, put amounts in column B: =CT_PRICE(A2)*B2 gives the value of each holding and SUM gives the total. For a watchlist, =CT_CHANGE(A2) shows the 24h % change of each coin. A dashboard can mix market cap, volume and rank with Sheets charts, and you can price a monthly report in EUR or GBP.
Investors and traders keep their portfolios in their own spreadsheet, and CoinTable never asks for a wallet or exchange keys.

🔄 How prices update
Prices come from the CoinGecko API through cointable.pro, which caches them for 5 to 30 minutes. Nothing refreshes on its own: a cell keeps its value until you run Extensions > CoinTable > Refresh Data, which updates every formula on the current sheet that starts with CT_.

Both plans include every coin, token, formula and currency.

• Plus: $5 a month or $48 a year, unlimited requests a month.

🔒 Privacy
CoinTable sends only each formula's ticker, currency and period, plus an anonymous key, to cointable.pro over HTTPS. Your amounts and the rest of the spreadsheet are never sent. It opens only the spreadsheets where you use it and does not read your Google account email. Lemon Squeezy asks for an email and card details only if you buy Plus.
