Free access to GPU and TPU accelerators! This makes training machine learning models, running deep learning experiments, and processing large datasets incredibly fast without needing an expensive gaming laptop. so The mobile experience is surprisingly good. Using it through Chrome on my phone, I can edit code, run cells, view plots, and check results on the go. It’s perfect for quick fixes while commuting or waiting in line. Colab also supports many popular libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Pandas, Matplotlib, and more right out of the box. Of course, it’s not perfect. Free sessions have time limits (usually around 12 hours) and can disconnect if idle. During peak hours, resources may slow down a bit. For heavy users, upgrading to Colab Pro is worth it — more RAM, faster GPUs, longer runtimes, and priority access. Overall, Google Colab is an essential tool for students, data scientists, researchers, and anyone interested in AI and machine learning. I subscribed to Google Colab specifically to get access to GPUs and faster compute. Just a few hours after paying for the plan, GPU access was no longer available. Working without a GPU is practically impossible for many tasks, which makes the paid plan completely useless if your goal is more power and speed. I cancelled the subscription immediately. Contacting support is pointless anyway, since their own policies clearly state that the service (including GPU access) is not guaranteed. I have honestly never experienced anything like this in my life: paying for a service that explicitly says it doesn’t guarantee the core feature you’re paying for. If you need reliable performance and you’re willing to pay, look elsewhere. There are much more solid and dependable alternatives out there.

Its really flexible and easy to implement for doing lightweight data science and ML tasks. Great for people getting into data science. However you will need the paid version if you want to do some heavy data tasks like A.I and Computer vision.
