Cyborg Llama is a brilliant app for ensembles to rehearse virtually! I am an ensemble director (classical guitar ensembles) and have been using it with groups of students since the summer of 2020. The app is set up in a way that it encourages students to develop their listening, synchronizing and blending skills - just as they would develop in live rehearsals. I love that I can give individual feedback, select specific passages for students to work on, and once the project is ready, I can easily export it as a video! A huge benefit of using CL is that students who tended to "blend into the background" during in-person rehearsals are becoming much stronger players and the entire ensemble is improving dramatically as a result. Once we are back to in-person rehearsals, I plan to continue to use CL so that students continue their ensemble practice at home between in-person rehearsals. I also use the app for my private students so that we can play duets "together", which has really made lessons more enjoyable! I highly recommend this app - it's truly a secret weapon for ensemble directors! Created with ensemble directors in mind, the functionality of CL really can't be beat by any other app out there. Cyborg Llama is a well-crafted app for asynchronous music-and-video collaboration. It comes with an extensive collection of helpful tutorials, and its creators are dedicated to helping users get the most out of its many features. The app was thoughtfully designed with ensemble musicians in mind, but can easily be used for individual projects (be sure to check out the demos for examples) and as a practice tool. Highly recommend!

Cyborg Llama is awesome! It's super easy to use and my kid really likes being able to play along with the teacher track. When it's time for him to make his own recording, he can have as many tries as he likes. As a parent, I love that I don't have to be involved in his practice/recording--he's 8 and can do it 100% on his own. Yay!

Cyborg Llama is great! I am able to easily record for myself, or collaborate with others. I highly recommend this app. It is by far the best one I have used for recording as a group or as an individual.

This is awesome! It's easy to use and has everything you could need to record :) Once you get used to calibrating every once in a while, it's very quick and helpful for orchestras that want to meet online! I love the solo and mute buttons so I can practice on my own and i have fun using it <3

Cyborg Llama is easy to use, and it helps tremendously to facilitate asynchronous performance. After spending countless hours lining up individual tracks on various projects, this program is a godsend. I highly recommend it for anyone interested in asynchronous collaboration. I also encourage its use as a practice tool for individuals and educational programs alike.

Your second oldest review (of 11 total) is less than a week old. All but one is a glowing form letter. I couldn’t even stand to watch more than half of your first feature demo video because of how many errors and doctored video was happening. High-hat “tsss” don’t match until you change the... volume? Then, the quality is clearly difference. Not to mention the awkward identical quality of motion in the supposedly “slowed down” videos. Vibrato and other motions would not have been that fast.
