If installed, from a Google Doc, you can go to "Extensions" > "Dakota Content Platform" > "Help", which opens a pop-up. The pop-up says, "Click on DCP Arista to open sidebar under the Add-ons | Get add-ons menu." That is inaccurate and incorrect. The pop-up also has a "Learn more" option that takes you to the Dakota Content Platform overview page—but not a help page about how to use the extension.
First, the menu to click is "Extensions" (not "Add-ons"), and the item that opens the sidebar is "Extensions" > "Control Panel" (not "DCP Arista"). Second, Dakota Content Platform developed this extension and, according to its website, an enterprise content platform (that is, a content management system or CMS) for technical documentation among other things. However, as far as I can tell, I don't see any help content that helps me understand how to use this extension, and it's not intuitive.
It doesn't bode well that it got the content in its own pop-up help dialogue wrong. I might excuse it if it was an old, unsupported extension—but according to the Workspace Marketplace description for this extension, it was last updated Dec 2, 2022, which is just a little over a month ago.
Seems they've done a poor job of providing technical help docs, their expertise, and the product itself is difficult and counterintuitive. I'm afraid I need to uninstall this one.
