Overview
Format your date, click a button, and start typing. This small app makes it easy to use Google Docs for your journaling. When you insert the date, it will be added to the bottom of your document as a header. You can alter the date format by using one of the pre-built options or customize by using the Java Simple Date Format.

For those getting an invalid time zone message; you have to click change date format then advanced options and enter your time zone. (ex. GMT+1) This add on is just OK. Pros: easy to use, multiple date formats, multiple text styles, and faster than typing it yourself. Cons: not customizable- you can only use their presets so you can not choose your own font, size, color, etc. So I would recommend it if you want a plain document, but if you want something personalized then I don't think this will help or save time.

Got this error upon trying to use: Invalid argument: timeZone. Should be of type: StringDetails This is a great idea. Make it better and provide a keyboard shortcut. I am waiting.

Brilliant. Just one caveat; add "insert date" to your search keywords to find your product. I searched "insert date" and your product didn't come up. I searched "date" and it popped up.

Request for a time zone drop down menu. When I type in my time zone, the date and time format does not display properly. Otherwise, it's a great add-on, and I would like to continue to use and recommend it.

It doesn't seem to automatically update the date when I download or print. But that was the whole point. Just typing a date I can do by myself
