Overview
DocForge turns rows in Google Sheets into personalized Google Docs and PDF files through a guided merge workflow.

Use DocForge when your team keeps source data in a spreadsheet and needs to generate repeatable documents such as certificates, letters, invoices, reports, intake summaries, confirmations, or case files. The add-on runs from the Google Sheets sidebar and walks you through selecting source rows, choosing a template, mapping fields, checking the setup, and generating output files.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Open the spreadsheet that contains your source rows.
2. Launch DocForge from the Google Sheets Extensions menu.
3. Select a Google Docs template that contains merge tags.
4. Map template fields to spreadsheet columns.
5. Choose an output format and naming pattern.
6. Run a preflight check before generating files.
7. Generate documents and review any row-level errors.
