## How Document Studio Works

Document Studio allows you to automate the creation and sharing of documents in a few easy steps.

1. Add the source data in a Google spreadsheet or import from Excel and CSV files. You can also create documents from new Google Forms™ submissions.
2. Build your templates with markers in Google Docs™, Google Sheets™ or Google Slides™.
3. Document studio will quickly generate multiple documents, one per row in the source sheet, replacing the markers in the template with the actual data.

## Bonus Features in Document Studio

Document Studio includes Mail Merge so you can automatically send the generated documents to one or more recipients in personalized emails. The included WYSIWYG email designer helps you create nice looking emails with your own brand logo images.

Use Document Studio to process non-disclosure agreements (NDA) for your business. The client will fill out a Google Form™ and the automation workflow will convert those form submissions into PDF files. The PDF files are securely archived in your Google Drive™ and a copy of the agreement is also sent to the client as an email attachment. The workflow will also publish a message in the company's internal Slack channel to notify the team that a new vendor has signed up.

I have given 4 starts because I LOVED this product when I first started using in 2020 but I am having multiple issues now not heard back from support. So it was 5 stars, now down to 4 but will rapidly go to 1 star if I do not response to my issues in the next few days. Seeking alternative

Started using Document Studio in mid-2020 and started with the free version for a single workflow automation. Never expanded beyond that single need. Progressively, the capability has decreased. The workflow for a mail merge with Google Slides and saved in unique folder areas has been helpful and was a basic entry into automation. Unfortunately, it keeps having issues now. When running the workflow, it searches 750 rows and finds no place to run the automation, but if it used the two conditions to run the workflow, it would only need to search 0-5 rows. When contacting support multiple times in the past, I never received responses. I gave up and tried to troubleshoot on my own or simply accept really long delays in the workflow completing. Now, it seems completely random if it executes or not. We are seeking alternative solutions.

Changed to Document Studio, however the emails only sending to some of the address listed and also not sending the latest email body version when sending via the flow. It does work when i manually send however but this defeats the purpose. Tried to delete and recreate the flow but the issue still persists. Raised 3 tickets as not heard back yet. Paid for the Enterprise License and slightly disappointed that is does not function as intended and seems to be lack of support. UPDATE: Changing to 4 starts, had a call with Amit who was able to see the issue i was facing and we managed to get it working i beleive, he is now investigating the cause on the backend.

An essential form for our company stopped working -- is only emailing some of the addresses listed but not all of them. I reached out for support, but after 2 weeks of no response - I posted a complaint here. The same person who stopped answering my support said, "email me and we'll get it sorted". I emailed them, and still no response over a week later. We spent weeks changing our systems over to Document Studio and we will be leaving soon.

Fantastic software and very powerful tools for workplace... absolutely garbage customer service. Have reached out multiple times and only get automated responses repeating the same instructions over and over. Infuriating. Lowering by only one star because *thankfully* there's been no interruption of service or issues yet. I have no idea what it takes to get a live person.

Good in theory, but it has issues e.g. has arbitrary limits on the amount of text you can send from Google Sheets to Telegram, imports it with <br> characters instead of newlines etc. Just needs some work to make it more usable, but a handy tool!

We use Document Studio add-on for automating our registration flow for a church event. The Document Studio add-on is definitely affordable, has a friendly interface, it's easy to use and has rich documentation with different use-cases and examples. I got quite timely responses for my queries about technical support or license matters. Overall: a great product with a great and professional support, thus I highly recommend the Document Studio add-on.

This add-on has been a game changer for me. As a new user, I'm already seeing the benefits - it's saving me time, manual effort, and the need to program. The tool is incredibly versatile and useful for a wide range of applications. The support experience was also fantastic - when I ran into an issue, the team was able to help me solve it through a face-to-face screenshare session on Google Meet.
