Kanbanchi for Gmail is a free add-on that helps you to create tasks from your messages in Gmail inbox in Kanbanchi task manager.

Once the add-on is installed and connected to your Gmail inbox you can click on Kanbanchi icon to create a card from an email. 

Subject lines become card titles and email bodies are added as card descriptions.

This add-on requires a Kanbanchi for GSuite installed on your account.  A free version of Kanbanchi is available, paid plans offer more features and support.
