Email Verification helps you verify email addresses directly inside Google Sheets, so you can clean lead lists, reduce bounce risk, and keep outreach data organized without exporting your spreadsheet to another tool.

Use the add-on to check individual email addresses, verify small sheets immediately, or submit larger lists as background bulk jobs. Results are written back into your spreadsheet with clear statuses such as deliverable, catch-all, unknown, and not deliverable.

# HOW IT WORKS

1. Install Email Verification from Google Workspace Marketplace.
2. Open a Google Sheet.
3. Choose Extensions > Email Verification > Start.
4. Add email addresses to the first column of your sheet.
5. Click Verification in the add-on sidebar.
6. Review the Status column after the run completes.

For lists with 1 to 100 email addresses, EVADDON verifies the list immediately and fills the Status column during the run.

For lists with 101 or more email addresses, EVADDON starts a background bulk run. Bulk runs do not drip results into the sheet while they are processing. Reopen the sidebar later, open Bulk Results, and click the completed run to import results into the Status column in the same sheet. If the original sheet changed too much, EVADDON safely falls back to importing results into a new sheet.

Bulk verification supports lists up to 250,000 email addresses.

# RESULT STATUSES

EVADDON returns practical statuses for day-to-day list cleaning:

- Deliverable: the address appears safe to contact.
- Deliverable (catch-all server): the domain accepts mail broadly, so the address may be higher risk.
- The mail server does not respond: the server timed out, throttled the check, or did not respond clearly.
- Not deliverable: the address appears invalid or unable to receive mail.

No verification service can guarantee that every future email will be delivered. Email systems change, mail servers throttle checks, and sending reputation still matters. Use verification as one layer of your deliverability workflow.

# PRIVACY AND PROVIDER USE

Email Verification uses Google account access to open the sidebar, read the active spreadsheet data you choose to verify, and write verification results back into your sheet. Email addresses submitted for verification are sent to a third-party email verification provider so deliverability checks can be performed and returned to the add-on.

Only verify email lists you have permission to use.
