Since 2025 businesses in Germany must be able to receive e-invoices; from 2027/2028 they must also send them. E-Rechnung für Sheets does it where your invoices already live: in Google Sheets.

Checked before you send
The add-on checks the rules e-invoices actually fail on: missing VAT id or tax number, Leitweg-ID check digits, IBAN, tax category vs. rate, XRechnung mandatory fields, rounding. Each message is plain language and jumps to the cell. During development every output is tested with the official KoSIT validator and Mustang (veraPDF).

All German tax cases
19 %, 7 % and mixed, small business (§ 19 UStG), reverse charge (§ 13b UStG), intra-EU supply, export, zero rate, document-level discounts and charges. The legally required note is added automatically.

Your layout
The PDF is made from a Google Docs template you design freely: logo, colours, text. Optional GiroCode (EPC QR) so customers pay with their banking app.

Receive e-invoices
Pick an XRechnung or ZUGFeRD file (XML or PDF), read it, add it to the “Eingangsrechnungen” tab with one click.

DATEV export

Privacy
Your invoice data never leaves your Google account. The add-on only accesses files it creates. Our server only sees the license check (license key and a hashed account).
