Overzicht
ExplainStats adds a complete statistics toolkit to Google Sheets™, and it tells you what your results mean.

Select your data, choose an analysis (or let the Assistant choose it) and click Run. ExplainStats writes a clean results table into your spreadsheet, draws the chart, checks the assumptions and adds a plain-language interpretation you can understand and reuse.

WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT
- Which-test Assistant: say what you want to do and select your data. ExplainStats checks normality, outliers and equal variances, picks the right test (for example Welch's t-test, ANOVA with Tukey, or Kruskal-Wallis) and explains why.
- A plain-language interpretation under every result: what the p-value means, how big the effect is, which groups differ.
- A ready-to-paste results paragraph and an APA-style line for your report or thesis.
- Show the steps: rebuilds the calculation as live Google Sheets™ formulas, ideal for learning and teaching.
- Four languages: English, French, Spanish and Portuguese.

CLASSIC TOOLS (FREE)
Descriptive statistics, histogram, box plot, Shapiro-Wilk normality test with Q-Q plot, rank and percentile, t-tests (paired, equal variances, Welch), z-test, F-test for variances, one-way and two-way ANOVA, Pearson correlation matrix, covariance, simple and multiple linear regression with residuals, chi-square test, moving average, exponential smoothing, sampling and random number generation. Output tables follow the familiar layout of a classic analysis toolpak.

PRO TOOLS
Which-test Assistant, Show the steps, results paragraph with APA line, Welch's ANOVA, Tukey HSD and Games-Howell post-hoc tests, Levene and Brown-Forsythe tests, Mann-Whitney U, Wilcoxon signed-rank, Kruskal-Wallis, Friedman, Spearman correlation, Fisher's exact test, Cronbach's alpha, A/B test for conversion rates, sample size and power, control charts, and teacher tools: an exercise generator with answer key, and an exam mode that turns off the Assistant and the explanations.

LAUNCH OFFER
Every Pro feature is free for everyone until January 31, 2027. The classic tools stay free, with no time limit.

ACCURATE
Results are checked against reference software (SciPy and R) on more than a thousand test cases.
