Field Trip Manager centralizes your field trip request workflow in Google Calendar™. All requests are submitted via the Google Workspace™ add-on collecting the needed data for the field trip to take place. All requests land on a designated Field Trip Request Calendar and are color coded by division. Notifications are delivered via email. Designated approvers can approve requests following a link in the email or directly on the Field Trip Request Calendar. Upon approval, the request is added to the divisional field trip calendar and an invite and email confirmation is sent to the organizer. Additionally, a new Google Doc™ is created and attached to the calendar event to keep track of relevant trip information such as permission slips, chaperones, bus mileage etc. Moreover, all Field Trips can be exported to a Google Sheet™.
