I don't understand the added value, because the person you send the link to still needs to have a Google account (the app requests to log in to a Google account). So why not just share a folder with someone else through Google drive?

NO ADDED VALUE I FOUND!!! there is still need permission from google drive unlike 'request file from dropbox'
