Bring your investments, spending and monthly budgets from Fillfolio into Google Sheets™. Choose Portfolio or Spending & Budgets in the sidebar, select your report scope and click Sync reports when you want an update. Choose Sync all for Data Studio to publish both report sets and the optional reporting worksheets in one recoverable workbook operation. Portfolio reports include a summary, Portfolio Review, holdings, investment transactions, cash, liabilities, allocation and source breakdowns. Existing portfolio reports and saved views remain available. Spending & Budgets adds four separate reports: • Spending Overview: spending, refunds, money in and net cash flow, with separate currency totals and coverage notices. • Bank Transactions: dates, merchants, accounts, amounts, currencies, transaction types, status, effective and original provider categories, budget groups and review reasons. • Spending Breakdown: category and budget-group totals with charts labelled by currency. • Budgets: monthly limits, actuals, remaining amounts, progress, coverage and active or stopped status. Choose a calendar month or custom spending dates. Filter by currency, account, exact category, budget group, search or review status. Budgets use the full selected calendar month across spending-enabled accounts, regardless of Spending filters. Every currency stays separate and labelled. With your consent, Sync all for Data Studio creates nine typed reporting worksheets in the current spreadsheet. Wait for Sync all to finish before you use Create Data Studio report to copy the five-page template: Portfolio Overview, Investments, Sources & Freshness, Spending, and Budgets. Check that all nine Google Sheets data sources point to your spreadsheet before saving. The report reads those worksheets through Google's native connector; it does not connect to Fillfolio or a bank. Google's cached data can lag your last completed workbook sync. During a sync, its nine sources can briefly show different worksheet versions. Check the completed publication time and the separate Portfolio and Spending source-read times when you read the report. Fillfolio remains the source of truth. Provider categories are retained by default; make optional category corrections and manage budgets in the Fillfolio dashboard. Spreadsheet or report edits do not change transactions, categories or budgets in Fillfolio. Portfolio synchronization is included with paid Fillfolio plans. Spending & Budgets and the combined report require ULTRA or HYPER and explicit Spending & Budgets permission for each spreadsheet connection. Spending transactions and budget actuals use the available history from supported spending-enabled bank connections. Existing connections stay portfolio-only until you approve the additional data permission. Installing the add-on does not upgrade your plan or connect a bank automatically. Synchronization is manual and one-way. It reads stored Fillfolio data and does not request a fresh bank import, schedule updates or move money. Portfolio reports use available rates to show base-currency values. Spending currencies stay separate. Available history and provider coverage vary; reports identify missing or unavailable data. Spending exports support a period of up to 366 days, 10,000 matching transactions and 8 MiB. Narrow the period or filters when a report is too large. Sync includes full financial values. Anyone with access to your spreadsheet can view them. Fillfolio Privacy Mode hides values only in the app. A shared Data Studio report can expose those values too. Share your report and spreadsheet only with intended viewers, and use Viewer's Credentials for each report source. Disconnecting stops future syncs but leaves exported cells, report copies and spreadsheet version history in place. Each sync replaces managed report cells. Keep personal formulas, notes and analysis on separate sheets. Data Studio reads each entire reporting worksheet, including cells outside the add-on's managed range. If a combined publication stops partway through, use Recover reports to restore the previous complete managed snapshot before syncing again. The add-on uses the current spreadsheet, displays its sidebar and connects to Fillfolio. Google's Marketplace permissions screen also lists access to your primary Google Account email address and personal information. The add-on does not request Drive-wide access, and it does not send spreadsheet cell contents back to Fillfolio. Fillfolio's authenticated MCP integration is separate; installing this add-on does not give an AI assistant access to your data. Fillfolio is financial tracking software and does not provide investment, tax or legal advice. Google Sheets™ and Google Drive™ are trademarks of Google LLC.
