🔵 Nov 2022 Folder Copy for Google Drive has been reworked and is better. You can copy more files and also include a free tier to copy folder with less than 40 files.

# Pricing
There is a free tier in Folder Copy (no card needed), you can copy up to 40 items. If there are more files in the folder, the copy will stop after we copy 40 files.
You can access the full application for 15$ or 15€ per year. 
No automatic renewal after one year you go back to free tier and need to purchase new license to use full version.

All info prior to purchase clearly stated it was a paid app. Stephane is my hero! He responded to my questions almost instantaneously. I write grants and right now my team of 5 is getting ready to write 26 grants for 2 grant applications. While Gdrive is amazing for collaboration, we need to set up 26 different folders for our partners that all have the same basic information. It takes me forever to have to copy individual files and then create a new folder 26 times. This just saved me several hours of work at a time when I am already overwhelmed. I might be able to actually watch some American Football this afternoon:) Best thing is it is a perpetual license for $2. As a small business owner I greatly appreciate not being gouged.

I had a bit of problems using the app at first because the app unfortunately copies the folder automatically in the top directory of Google Drive. It would be much better if the user could specify a target. However, Stephane proved to be an incredibly supportive customer service rep for his own app. The guy is way cool, and I would love to work with him to make this app even better and especially help the English documentation. It can take a little bit of time but it does work and seems to be the best solution on the market. Well worth the price. Merci Beaucoup Mssr. Stephane.

It was helpful at first. Now, it seems like it no longer works. Would still prefer if google just lets us straight copy and paste between folders like how it is on our own computer drives.

I use this all the time. I'm a license holder and paid the money to have it. But, could you please give me the ability to select a default destination folder? I use a folder with a specific folder structure inside as a template. I want to copy the folder and have the copy go into the folder of my choosing. Please?!

I made about a dozen copies of a folder, but it copied only some of the contents to the different parent folders, and seems random in which child folders copied and which didn't. Anyone else have this problem?

It was not obvious that this was a paid app, and that only appears after you allow the long list of permissions. Why does Google not have a feature within the drive program to copy a folder?
