Tool is simple and generally works, but the app insists on having you reauthorize permissions with UK VAT every time you use it, even if you have already done so for 18 months. This link often fails for me and I get stuck unable to submit a return even though I have already granted permission. It would be better if you could bypass the HMRC login when you don't need it. I keep struggling to submit returns on time.

Absolutely fantastic! ANNA is great. Highly intuitive use, inexpensive, straightforward, intelligently programmed. It fits in seamlessly with my preexisting value added tax filing routine. Delightful! Well done ANNA creators. --- My second time using ANNA (a few months later) was also promising; but there seems to be some important steps required to make success more likely: Firstly - be sure to sign out of any other google account than the one on which "ANNA" was first installed or downloaded. In other words, to be certain, deactivate your chromebook, then reactivate it and log in with the (or a) google account that you used to download "ANNA". Secondly - delete browser history for "All time". Kindly do this twice. Thirdly - use the "ANNA" software ... and hopefully; you will have no problems.

After getting a fine following the HRMC change to Making Tax Digital scheme, this add-on for google sheets was fantastic and simple to use. It integrated quickly with some minor updates to my Google sheets and made the VAT submission as straight forward as can be. AND IT'S FREE!
