1) The error message "drive.google.com refuses to connect" shows up within the gantt chart addon’s sidebar
The cause for this error message is that multiple users are logged in within the browser.
Solution 1:
Just log out with all users, except the one which should be used to work with the addon.
Solution 2:
Use a different browser or the incognito mode.

2) The sidebar of the gantt chart addon is completely blank

simple... just what I need. I have not found out though how to link tasks dates with my calendar, or with my google tasks (that would be perfect !!).

It is generally helpful extension with all google applications and organising things in visual manner. It would be great having function of uploading files and sticky notes on tasks.

Nice, simple and lightweight Gantt chart app. Along with concern on how to manage/edit charts mentioned below, I really miss the ability to rearrange tasks order. Also color scheme customisation would be useful.

It simply won't work! Even if you follow the YouTube tutorials. It does not show any option to activate when you click on Add-ons. It requires a permission to access my private information and then it stays dormant. Is this data farming of some sort? Deleted.

I can't add details on projects, also can't change date system. The worst thing is that project task doesn't appear on calendar. Whats the point of all this ? Nice try although need more options

This app gets permission for your data, but does absolutely nothing. A Google Sheets opens with data in fields and a heading informing you not to change the data. DO NOT waste your time with this add-on.
