I previously relied on Google Mail Merge, but the advanced features were restricted and I was limited to sending only 100 emails per day. After switching to GMass, everything changed. I can now send over 350 emails daily with far greater flexibility and control. I’ve been using GMass for Gmail for a few weeks now for newsletters and outreach campaigns, and overall, I’d give it a 4 out of 5. You can pull data straight from Google Sheets and insert any field right into your emails. It makes each message feel like a one-on-one, even when you’re sending to hundreds of people at once. One of my favorite features is the ability to set follow-ups based on recipient behavior. If someone doesn’t open or reply, GMass will automatically send the next email in your sequence. That’s been a huge time-saver compared to doing it manually. Even though GMass lets you send campaigns to thousands of addresses, Gmail itself still caps how many emails you can send per day (about 500 on normal accounts and ~2,000 on Workspace accounts). If you hit those limits, your messages will stop going out until the next day unless you use a third-party SMTP service to get around them. Overall, GMass is great for small businesses, freelancers, and anyone who wants advanced mail-merge features without leaving Gmail. If you’re sending really high volumes regularly, you’ll want to plan for the Gmail limits, but for everyday outreach and personalized campaigns, it’s a huge step up from Gmail alone.

We started using GMass through Google Workspace Marketplace for outreach campaigns, and it’s been very practical for our workflow. The fact that it works directly inside Gmail makes it easy to manage campaigns without switching platforms. Setup was straightforward, and personalization features work well for structured B2B communication. There’s a bit of learning involved around deliverability best practices, but once that’s sorted, it’s a dependable tool. I appreciate that it doesn’t try to overcomplicate things.

Once I figured out how to use the "Attachment" feature it was amazing! I watched quite a few videos that made it seem quick and easy but they could have been a little more specific on how to set up your spreadsheet. Like they could have mentioned to not have any columns in your spreadsheet that did not have information you were going to use in your email. I had to play around with it and try a few test emails before I figured it out. Also, adding links to PDFs from Google Drive into the spreadsheet was hard to figure out. I had to manually attach each link into the spreadsheet. But my 827 emails were sent successfully with all the correct attachments going to the correct people.

Installed the GMass Gmail Add-on recently, and it adds useful contact insights inside Gmail, which makes sending campaigns a little easier. Making my task so easy , and I am able to send bulk emails in one go and the scheduler option is very helpful for me. The setup was straightforward, and once everything was connected, sending personalised mass emails became incredibly fast and reliable. I especially appreciate how GMass handles deliverability, scheduling, and tracking — all within the familiar Gmail interface , cherry over the ice cream😍
