I have been using GoToMeeting for over 6 years now and recently an update occurred which has made me come here to rate the app. When previously integrated with my Google Calendar and I would select GoToMeeting Session on a new meeting creation, the GoToMeeting would get auto created with the name of my meeting. It would even change the name if I changed the meeting name. Now, I don't see the new meeting in my windows version of GoToMeeting. I have to go to my calendar invite and click on the goto session there to open it, and every single meeting is now called New Meeting. This is a nightmare when I'm trying to find stored and recorded meetings in the past. If there isn't a solution for this, my review will be going down to 1 star.

When trying to log in to GoToMeeting through Google calendar using my work email, the following message popped up after clicking "sign in" "Authorization is required to perform that action." We have exhausted all options, including using an incognito window, and can not sign in. Please provide assistance for installing and logging in to GoToMeeting

Solution: Regarding the login error and this error message: {"error":"invalid_request","error_description":"Required parameter(s) missing or wrong."} I was getting this too and found out that when logged in to multiple gmail accounts at the same time is what prompts the error. Even if you are just using one of your gmail accounts, but are logged into another behind the scenes so you can easily toggle back and forth in Chrome, that will trigger this login error. To fix it, I first logged out of all my gmail accounts in Chrome, then only signed into the account where I want to enable this GTM calendar plug in. While only logged into one gmail account, the login worked. Now I can schedule meetings and add GTM as a video conferencing option (in Chrome desktop browser and Google Cal mobile app). I then signed back in to my other gmail account (to make toggling back and forth between Gmail accounts easy again) and the plug in still works. Hope this helps!

I wish it was more like Zoom in the way it functions. Some may think it's assumptive but if you click on a video-type link, Zoom opens and starts a video meeting. It's much more difficult to get a GoTo meeting to start even without a link from someone outside which should be easy its not.

It does not work. The instructions do not address the issues. The software is absolutely not user friendly. It is not intuitive. I give this an F minus.

A User of GoTo for Google Calendar

I installed the plug-in a while ago for use with my calendar and it works great. Recently I have tried to help some co workers also install it but when they go to sign in using google it pops up as "Sign in with google temporarily disabled and says the App has not been verified by Google yet" Anyone know what the problem is or how to fix it?

This app is good, but It stopped working and now I'm not able to connect any longer it shows this error message "Error: Error retrieving token: invalid_request, Required parameter(s) missing or wrong. (line 467, file "Service", project "OAuth2")". I tried to contact Logmein support, but no lucky.

I did a test after installing and started in my Google Calendar to set up the meeting. I selected time and date from my calendar and then went to see what is would display and it was setting up for the time and date I was entering the information (todays date) not the date and time I was setting up the meeting for which was tomorrow at 7PM. Even not using this app when I log into G2M to see my scheduled meetings, I used to be able to pull up the invite information and edit from the G2M online site. Now it just shows lines and not the information even if you click on it to open. I have to make changes to meetings on the fly and not take a bunch of time to enter things. I thought the Google Calendar integration would be good but now I know it is not. I went back in and ran another test. When selecting the type of G2M conferencing select GoToMeeting Personal Meeting room (Recommended) and the date and time which you have clicked on in your calendar will populate. If you select the GoToMeeting Session it is assuming you want to start a session right then. I then sent invite to my personal calendar, Once you open to join you as the joiner have 2 options to join, download ap or join thru browser. Same with the meeting organizer. I took a bit to walk thru it to see how but it does appear to be working.
