It used to work fine, but now it is nothing more than an excel sheet. I cannot email or text parents anymore, but it was great before.

This is probably the best online grade book that anyone could switch into . I used a local program called "Easy Grade Pro" for years because of the record keeping and the progress reports that I could send out to parents. Because of security reasons I was unable to use EGP any longer and found Google Gradebook to be just as good for an online option. I did run into some issues in the beginning as I was getting familiar with this program but the Support Dept has been excellent . Their service has been fast in response time and in finding solutions if it's a tech support problem or just customizing the templates.

So much love for this GradeBook! My only small annoyance is how the Statistics page doesn't follow the Settings page for grades, nor does it follow manually changing the numbers on the statistics page. Those numbers are hard-coded into the column. I manually changed the hard-coded numbers to my grading system and it worked, however, some sheet coding knowledge is required for this fix which will need to be in every GradeBook I create. Aside from this, wonderful! It's so relaxing to have a gradebook that just works and I LOVE the emailing final reports function! Thanks so much :D

Worked for the first few years I used it. Now I get a Google Drive connection error when I generate reports at least once a quarter. It is usually a widespread issue on their end and eventually gets fixed. It has been a good program but I am super frustrated because it seems to go down every time I need to do report cards. Hope they figure this out, three to four years ago I would have given them five stars.

Currently this add-on is running as a free version which means that import is limited to 5 students and 5 assignments, please consider purchasing. Earlier version allowed emailing of reports. A recent update has set a very low email limit. So, this product may work for you if you only have a single small class. Unfortunately, it is not a good solution if you want to use for multiple classes.

I was depending on this...Suddenly reverted to unpaid version .... now no grades available.....sent form to the blackhole of support ....no response....teachers work at weekend ....particular communicating with parents....my advice .....dont rely upon this
