GSweep needs permission to read and change your Gmail so it can find the emails your filters match and delete, archive, label or star them. It never stores the content of your emails. What it keeps is the filters you create and a record of each sweep — the sender, the subject line and a link to the thread — so you can check what it did. That record is yours; nothing is shared with anyone.
