Hypatia is a lifesaver. I create Google slides every week for my Algebra I class, and Hypatia is super user-friendly. It's better than Moodle's math editor by far, and is just as good as PowerPoint, which costs an arm and a leg more. Thank you, Hypatia!

I love Hypatia Create. I use it daily as a math teacher and I find it to be the most powerful and user friendly math writing tool yet! I love that it matches font size to what you're currently working on and appreciate that once you've written a piece with it, you can easily edit it if needed. Excellent tool, have and will continue to recommend to peers!

Hypatia was a saving grace five years ago when I discovered it and advocated its use. I haven't used it much this year due to the classes I'm teaching, but I was shocked to discover I could no longer access it due to it becoming a subscription based service. I understand wanting to make money off of the work, but its primary strength and adoption (at least when I was advocating it to other teachers) was the fact it was the best free tool available. Unfortunately, there are other options. For this subscription to work, they really need to refine it. Dealing with how sluggish it is, how it didn't always render properly is one, and how finnicky it could be if you wanted to edit something you already placed is one thing while free, entirely another if you're paying for it.

As a high school math teacher that creates presentations every day for class, this extension has been a life saver! It makes it so easy to enter math notation, especially once you get the hang of the common short hands to quickly insert math notation. I use this it multiple times a day, every day. It makes creating tests and quizzes in google docs so easy as well. With the paid version, you can change the color of different parts of your math, and my students have told me that this feature is so helpful when learning about angle relationships, multiplying matrices, and so many other topics. This extension has made my life as a teacher so much easier and I cannot recommend it enough!

Fue excelente, ahora tengo que pagar 15 USD para usarla después de la prueba gratuita. Soy estudiante y me ayudaba a hacer mis reportes de laboratorio, ahora tendré que buscar otra alternativa gratuita, estaría bien una versión limitada para no tener que dejar de usarla por completo y eliminarla.

High School math teacher. I use this Hypatia app for Google Slides daily, and it allows me to copy equations or modifications from the previous work. (I used to write math equations from MS WORD, screenshots, and insert as an image!!) Here are the Corn of this APP; 1. I try to give two starts, but I can't submit review if I rate below 5 starts. 2. Hypatia doesn't allow the font size/thickness/color in "mini editor," so I have to open "Full Editor" if I want to color-code emphasizing letters (variables), and it takes FOREVER!!! 3. If I modify the equations, it takes a long time to update; seriously, it freezes often, and I have to restart the app consistently!!!! 4. I like to "animate" the solutions (so students will try first), but Hypatia automatically closes if I insert the "animate" feature. So I constantly go to "Extension" tap to re-open the app, and it also TAKES FOREVER!! It is not a fast-responding app. 5. Ultimately, I feel like I have arthritis in my fingers because I have to keep the editors open and closed. For this reason, I don't recommend this app, and I will try another app once I finish my subscription.
