Requires signing up to make an account on their site, and only then informs you that you need to subscribe ($15 a year). Not a fan of misleading practices and unnecessarily needing to share my personal details.

Love how easy it is to create a Math Equation but it is really slow. It takes a couple of seconds to start and a couple of seconds to create and insert the equation. I have thousands of equations so this kills my productivity and I'm forced to spend time waiting for it to load versus getting work done. To the developers, please FIX this and this will be an AMAZING add-on. I would LOVE to give you a 5 star if this is fixed.

Hypatia is a lifesaver. I create Google slides every week for my Algebra I class, and Hypatia is super user-friendly. It's better than Moodle's math editor by far, and is just as good as PowerPoint, which costs an arm and a leg more. Thank you, Hypatia!

I love Hypatia Create. I use it daily as a math teacher and I find it to be the most powerful and user friendly math writing tool yet! I love that it matches font size to what you're currently working on and appreciate that once you've written a piece with it, you can easily edit it if needed. Excellent tool, have and will continue to recommend to peers!

Hypatia was a saving grace five years ago when I discovered it and advocated its use. I haven't used it much this year due to the classes I'm teaching, but I was shocked to discover I could no longer access it due to it becoming a subscription based service. I understand wanting to make money off of the work, but its primary strength and adoption (at least when I was advocating it to other teachers) was the fact it was the best free tool available. Unfortunately, there are other options. For this subscription to work, they really need to refine it. Dealing with how sluggish it is, how it didn't always render properly is one, and how finnicky it could be if you wanted to edit something you already placed is one thing while free, entirely another if you're paying for it.
