Did not work. It does not go over text after enabling the image to be placed over text, nor after fiddling with its image properties.

This app is the PERFECT SOLUTION for placing an image over text in a Google Document. It is super easy to use and much too simple to misunderstand. 1) Insert an image into the document 2) Click (select) that same image 3) While leaving the image selected, in the Menu Ribbon above (next to Tools), click, "Add-ons" 4) In the drop-down menu, click, "Image Above Text for Google Docs" 5) In the drop-down, drop-down menu, click, "Place selected image above text" 6) You are now done and allowed to move your previously selected image around the document anywhere you wish at anytime without having to go through this process anymore. Tip: Use an image editing tool to delete selected areas of your image and save as a PNG before you import them into your Google Doc. The deleted holes, spaces and contours will now be transparent for a more refined and professional end result.

Does not work... I read reviews and instructions. Waste of time. Would love help beyond what Djemai Tewfik already stated.

Does not work for me. I created a drawing and put a text box in it and tried to make it float over the text, but no luck for me. Uninstalled.

Works very well. 5 stars on the base functionality alone. However it does prove difficult being placed anywhere near tables, as docs wants to shove the image inside the table. (I really wish there was a better table addon, but that's besides the point here.) I would, however, LOVE to see an image -behind- text version. It would help greatly.

It really works! if some of you are having problems, refresh first your page before using the add-on. Then just insert any image, go to add-ons, select image over text and you'll see an option to place the image over the text. I'll only give 4/5 because of the unclear instructions.
