Overview
Browse 1800+ free icons from Font Awesome & Google Material Design directly in Google Slides. You can choose any color you want and the icons are imported in your slides with a transparent background.
A very simple way to choose the perfect icons to illustrate your presentation.

For now, 2 icon set are available via this add-on, for a total of more than 1800 icons:
- 900+ icons from Font Awesome - https://fontawesome.com/icons
- 900+ icons from Google Material Design - https://material.io/icons/

Once you selected an icon and added it in your slide, right-click and select "Format options" to drop a shadow, add a reflexion and much more.

Just the right tool at the right time. The ease of selecting icons, and the options to recolor and resize brought immediate appeal to my presentation. What would be nice is to use the same tool but have the option to use licenced icon packs from font awesome

This is awesome! So easy to use. It would be great if we could get access to the Light versions for Font Awesome. Hoping to see this in the future. Also, it would be handy if the plugin remembered the last colour that you used.

How to use: You have to close the document and reopen it then go to extensions --> insert icons for slides --> open sidebar to select icons

👌 Been using this for years, I love that there's no junk unlike the other ones (""premium subscriptions"", ads, etc). There is one bug where sometimes the background of icons won't go black when you put the color to white, making it hard to see but I have no complaints otherwise.

Great add-on. A few feature requests that I’d be happy to contribute to if you’d like PRs. 1) Include the noun project (open API on their site), 2) ability to either save colors or pull from the Slide’s theme to keep from having to keep hex codes in a separate place - a color picker would be super hip but not sure if add-on would allow that type of access to the page 3) add and save your own SVGs (I assume that’s what’s being rendered?) for the add-on to color and insert. That would be super helpful thanks to Sheets’ lack of SVG support.

The google icons render perfectly, but they are less useful than the font awesome icons. Unfortunately, every single font awesome icon renders with absolute terrible pixelation. Making this Add-On completely useless. ***goes to font awesome website and downloads full pack of icons. ***uninstall.
