# Jive Data – Google Workspaceā„¢ Marketplace Listing (Overview)

The sections below are the source copy for the Google Workspaceā„¢ Marketplace console. Use plain text only in the listing fields (no Markdown: no asterisk-bold, no `#` headings, no `|` tables).

---

## Short description (e.g. ~80 chars)

šŸ“Š SEC filings, insider trades, 13F data & statement line items in Google Sheetsā„¢.

---

## Long description / Overview

Stop copy-pasting from EDGAR. Jive Data brings clean SEC data into Google Sheetsā„¢ with one custom function:

=jivedata(symbol, type)
=jivedata(ticker, lineItem, year or TTM)

No CSV hunts, no manual refreshes for static exports—build models and dashboards that update when you recalculate. Perfect for analysts, investors, and anyone who lives in spreadsheets.

šŸ“Œ AT A GLANCE

šŸ“ˆ SEC filings — 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, and more for U.S. tickers.

šŸ‘¤ Insider transactions — Form 4 (and 3/5) parsed into clear rows.

šŸ¦ Institutional ownership — 13F/13D/13G holders plus full 13F by filer.

šŸ“Š Financial statements — Full 10-K tables, or a single line item in one cell.

⚔ One formula — =jivedata("AAPL","filings") — no extra UI after you authorize once.

šŸ“‘ DATA YOU CAN PULL IN

• Insider transactions — Form 3/4/5 activity, one row per transaction: date, insider name(s), SEC transaction type, shares, value, price per share, filing link.
Example: =jivedata("GME","insider")

• SEC filings — Company filing list: date, company name, form type (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, etc.), accession number, URL.
Example: =jivedata("AAPL","filings")

• Ownership — 13F/13D/13G holders for a stock: holder type, name, filing date, position value, portfolio value, link to the filer.
Example: =jivedata("NVDA","ownership")

• 13F holdings — A specific fund’s latest 13F: issuer, CUSIP, class, value, shares, filing date, filer name.
Example: =jivedata("berkshire-hathaway-inc","13F")

• Financials (full tables) — 10-K statements from SEC XBRL: income statement, balance sheet, cash flow; line items with fiscal-year columns and units.
Example: =jivedata("AAPL","financials")
Optional trailing cell (e.g. $A$1) is ignored and can be used only to force Sheets recalc: =jivedata("AAPL","financials",$A$1)

• Financial line items (single number) — Pull one income statement, balance sheet, or cash flow figure into a cell. Year omitted = latest annual (SEC fiscal year). Pass a year for that fiscal year, or "TTM" for trailing twelve months when quarterly data supports it. A cell reference that is empty or not a year/TTM is treated as latest annual (refresh-friendly).
Examples:
=jivedata("GME","Revenue",2015)
=jivedata("GME","Revenue")
=jivedata("GME","Revenue","TTM")
=jivedata("GME","Cash")
=jivedata("GME","Total Cash")
=jivedata("GME","Marketable Securities")
=jivedata("GME","Digital Assets")
=jivedata("GME","Shares Outstanding")
=jivedata("AAPL","Net Income")
=jivedata("MSFT","EBITDA","TTM")
=jivedata("AAPL","Total Debt")
=jivedata("AAPL","Capex",2023)

Common items include Revenue, Net Income, EBITDA, Capex, Free Cash Flow, Total Assets, Equity, Total Debt, EPS, and:
• Cash — cash & cash equivalents only
• Total Cash — cash + marketable securities + digital assets (when tagged)
• Marketable Securities
• Digital Assets
• Shares Outstanding — basic shares from the latest 10-K cover page (or that fiscal year’s 10-K); "TTM" = latest reported outstanding (often a later 10-Q). Not weighted-average diluted shares used for EPS.

Aliases like Rev, NetIncome, TotalCash, SharesOutstanding, gross profit work. Coverage depends on what the company tags in SEC XBRL.

šŸš€ HOW TO USE

For insider, filings, ownership, financials, and line items, the first argument is a U.S. stock ticker (e.g. GME, AAPL, NVDA).

For 13F, the first argument is the filer slug (e.g. berkshire-hathaway-inc). Browse filers and exact slugs at https://jivedata.com

Coverage depends on SEC XBRL company facts for that ticker. Some items or TTM may be unavailable when the company does not report the underlying concept.
