Job Beast for Gmail™

Job Beast helps job seekers send personalized applications from their own Gmail™ and track replies inside their existing inbox.
This add-on closes the loop: when someone responds to your application, you import the email into your Job Beast application with one click.


What it does

When you open any email in Gmail™, the Job Beast sidebar appears. It identifies the open message and tries to match it to one of your active applications based on the sender and subject.

You'll see one of four states:

• Match found — we identified the application automatically. Confirm and import.
• Multiple matches — choose the right one from a short list.
• No automatic match — pick from your active applications manually.
• No matching application — visit app.jobbeast.org to apply first.


After you click Import, the add-on:

• Saves the email to that application's timeline
• Re-runs Job Beast's reply classifier to detect status changes (interview, rejection, follow-up needed)
• Updates the application status if warranted
• Deep-links you to the application page in app.jobbeast.org


Privacy

Job Beast doesn't read your inbox. The add-on reads only the single email you currently have open — strictly the message your cursor is on. It cannot scan messages you haven't opened. The data we receive (sender, subject, body) is transmitted to api.jobbeast.org over HTTPS and stored against your application.

We deliberately do not request gmail.readonly, gmail.modify, or any restricted Gmail scope. Our use of Gmail data complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
