Your spreadsheet's safety net. Kayabyte Sheet Guard keeps a searchable record of changes, backs up form responses and keeps rows where they belong.

Audit log
- Every manual edit in the tabs you choose: time, who, cell, old value and new value, including pasted ranges and the contents of deleted rows (which the Google Sheets™ edit history does not show).
- Tabs added, renamed or deleted; rows and columns inserted or removed; sorts.
- "Check log integrity" (Pro) shows whether log rows were edited, removed or added by hand later.
- Limits: changes made by formulas, scripts or other add-ons are not logged. Google shows other editors' names only within the same organisation.

Form response guard
- Each Google Forms™ response linked to the sheet is copied to a backup tab as it arrives.
- A regular check compares the form with the backup and tells you when responses never reached the sheet, a form was unlinked, or the response tab was renamed, deleted or had its headers changed.
- Pro recovers the missing responses into the backup tab and emails you.

Row rules
- "When Status is Done, move the row to Done." Copy rows to other tabs, and stamp "created" or "last changed" dates. Rules run on manual edits and on new form responses.

One person turns Sheet Guard on, and it runs in their name for everyone who edits the file. Other editors do not need the add-on.

Privacy: everything stays in your spreadsheet, processed by Google Apps Script™ in your account. Kayabyte never receives your cells, log or form responses; our licence service only sees the email address of each person who opens Sheet Guard, to check their plan.
