Thank you for your interest in GdocifyMd, a Google Docs™ add-on for converting / importing Markdown documents into Google Docs™.

# Features

# Limitations
- Bookmarks and cross references cannot be kept:
- Google Docs™ can only use randomly generated bookmark identifiers which doesn’t work with markdown syntax.
- Table styles cannot be preserved.
- Can only append imported markdown content to the end of the file or replace the entire file. Cannot perform operations like “select and replace”.
- Certain markdown text patterns will result in extra empty lines.

Said it would convert markdown, it didn't convert the markdown. Quite possibly I failed to do something, but I followed all instructions so if I failed to do something then the instructions are not clear and the process is unreasonably complicated.

Doesn't work. Says that it works and that I have 30 free conversions but doesn't actually convert anything. Tried multiple times and the only difference is that I now only have 25 free conversions. Useless.

Tried it for the first time today - didn't work when I tried to add it at the end of a document, but worked exceptionally well when I used it on a blank doc. Just copy and pasted it over to the original doc... still saved an insane amount of time, for free. It was all formatted .md and code snippets - can't say how well it does with images, urls, etc. but it's a god-send for working with LLMs.

An exceptional add-on with great support. I've been using this add-on for close on 6 months and have been hammering it. I've read the negative reviews and honestly cannot relate to anything these people are saying. Yes there was a bug caused by Google with authentication and this was not the only add-on affected. Many I use were. The rest of the negative ones are not worth the effort. This plugin works out of the box and does what it says on the label .. exceptionally well. Support is responsive and very quick to act. That has been my experience. I'm grateful to have found this add-on. It literally saves me hours every week

This is fantastic - just what I needed to take LLM output in markdown format from Claude.ai and put it into a Google Doc. Thank you. I have a Google Workspace account and it works for me. It's a shame others are having issues.

I was surprised that there were so many bad reviews because this app works GREAT for me! It is exactly what I need to be able to transfer AI-generated content from Gemini, ChatGPT and CoPilot. Maybe the way I use it is different from others, but the copy-paste functionality is simple and accurate. I often transfer the output from Google Docs to another word processing program and this saves me a lot of work. I also appreciate the yearly subscription rate being super reasonable!

I have the paid version and it always has installation error. The author claims that it is a google bug when you have multiple logins. I DO NOT have multiple logins and I am a programmer myself.

It *mostly* works. All of my links get trimmed by a few characters. I have to manually fix them after conversion. For that reason, I'll likely uninstall.
