After trialing the free version for retrieving basic pricing on individual options and finding it works at least as well as my own functions did before Y! locked down their query2 API, I will say that it was easy to install and provided the basic function. I would like to upgrade so that I'm not limited in number of quotes, but I feel it's a bit pricey if I'm only using it for options prices, especially considering there will very likely be competitors soon (imagine it built into Sheets or offered as a feature from your favorite brokerage). And, I would DEFINATELY need it to stop returning #ERROR! after market close (just return the closing values and don't expect to be paid for free data) so that I can do my planning for the next market open. I understand why some are making it difficult to lock down even the delayed quote data, and this is a good alternative to roll-your-own. I'll look forward to fairer pricing and fixes to a few glitches. HTH.

Tried the free version which needless to say was missing a lot of features. Exchanged notes with the team who said they would implement some important upgrades if I got the lower tier paid version. I did just that - followed up on feature implementation - they then tried to backtrack and get me to get the higher tier paid version before implementing any changes I brought up the previous agreement and the team (likely the founder) then tried to gaslight me into thinking I was confused about the original exchange Bad guys / disingenuous - would not recommend

Had very high hopes for this and as a computer guy didn't have much problems getting it to run. Don;t think this would be the case if you are not a techie as a lot of stumbling blocks to get this to work. My goal was to get option pricing for the google sheets doc. marketdata did provide this but totally inaccurate. Tesla is one of the most actively traded options. Fidelity and Robinhood had accurate real time prices for the options. Totally disappointed that marketdata provided grossly inaccurate info

I have been using Market Data for a week and so far it's been great. I have a Google Sheet which needs to update around 80-120 cells several times a day with option pricing and delta values. This saves me a lot of time. The Google Sheet app on my iOS devices do not have the ability to open an add-on so I cannot tell the sheet on my iPhone to update the values as I can when I am on my laptop. Market Data provided a workaround so now Google Sheets on my iPhone will update the values and I can easily see the value of my positions.

I like using this to track my multi-leg options strategies, but when the market closes all of my OPTIONSDATA() cells return #ERROR! which messes up all of my formulas, so it's basically only good during a live market and breaks my sheets when the market is closed.

just trying to have the google sheet update automatically without having to use update button (which Iphone doesn't allow. Anyone figure how to have the sheet update automatically at a few second intervals? Reply - Yes, on iPhone you can add a insert a new row 1 to your spreadsheet and that will cause all rows below to recalculate (including the Market Data formulas). There is no way to automatically update prices currently. I understand the cell replication. Just would love if this could be done refreshed every few seconds on an iPhone. I scalp trade and need quick info. If anyone figures a workaround - even using Excel, please post.

This may be the answer to one of my biggest headaches, tracking options. My broker does not group spreads and Iron Condors and has a fairly confusing reporting structure. This allows me to build out that analysis, keeping my trades organized and up to date. Installing the token went well (followed Googles guidance), documentation is good (room to make it better of course). There have been a couple of issues, but the support has been amazing. Very responsive and helpful. There are a couple of little niggles around communication (otherwise I'd given them 5 stars) but I'm sure that they will knock them out. Recommended.
